Surface Coatings & Protection

01. Which steel grades are common for construction in the UAE?
The most common structural steels include grades such as S275 and S355 or ASTM A36. Stainless steel can be provided when hygiene or corrosive conditions prevail.
02. How do you manage fire rating and Civil Defense compliance?
We provide intumescent coatings as per the approval of your consultant and in accordance with the fire rating you have specified.
03. What is the difference between shop welding and field welding?
Shop welding takes place under a controlled workshop environment and provides the most consistent quality. Field welding is carried out for the final connections at site.
04. Can you fabricate custom long-span trusses?
Yes. We carry out custom steel fabrication including truss fabrication and erection.
05. How do you protect steel from corrosion in coastal areas?
Blasting, high build epoxy paint system, polyurethane topcoat or galvanizing according to the exposure conditions.
06. How is quality tested before dispatch?
Visual inspection and testing of welds as per requirement through dye penetrant, magnetic particle or ultrasonic method.
07. What documents do I need for an accurate quote?
Structural drawings, Bill of Quantities if available, material specifications, coating specifications and your project location. Sketch is sufficient to provide an early estimate.
08. Do you provide complete logistics and on-site crane erection?
Yes. We provide transportation, lifting and erection services so that there is a single party responsible from workshop to site.
